Establised in the 1960s Bank House is a Grade II listed building situated in Gosberton 250 yards from the main access road. Access to the home is good. The distance from various towns are 6 miles - Spalding, 10 miles - Boston, 10 miles - Holbeach, 23 miles - Peterborough. Facilities include single or companion rooms which are all fitted with smoke alarms. The home is on two floors with connecting stairways and is equipped with a call bell system, passenger lift and ramps fitted giving easy access for wheelchair users. The home has four main resident lounges situated on the ground floor with easy chairs, coffee tables and televisions. There is a quiet room where residents are able to receive visitors in privacy. There are visiting doctors, nurses, opticians, chiropodists and weekly hairdressers and clergy, with in-house entertainment. The home prepares varied and specialist diets with local fresh produce used. We have our own laundry facilities where all the residents laundry is washed, ironed and returned to their room. Staff have on-going in-house training covering a wide range of topics. Visitors are welcome to come and have a look around the home at any reasonable hour. |
