Good = 4. Satisfactory = 3. Poor = 2. Very Poor = 1. These points are added up and then divided by the total number of completed ratings to generate the average rating. 3 points for receiving the first Positive Review.

(Number of Positive Reviews ÷ number of registered beds) x 2, up to a maximum score of 1 Point. ie a care home / service has to receive a number of Positive Reviews equal to half of the number of registered beds to obtain the maximum score of 1 point. eg a care home / service with 40 registered beds has to receive 20 Positive Reviews to obtain the maximum score of 1 point.
(For Adult Day Care Centres and Extra Care Housing which do not have a registered number of beds, 1) and 2) are replaced by the formula of 0.2 points per Review, up to a maximum score of 2 points. ie a listing needs 10 Reviews to receive the maximum score of 2 points

How Likely are the Reviewers to Recommend Sherwood House?
Reviewer Connection to Sherwood House
Recommendation submitted from a Website Submission by Peter D (Friend of Resident/Service User) on Wednesday 1 July 2015. Recommendation relates to June 2015.
This Care Home is certainly the most extraordinary facility that I have ever visited. The very first thing that strikes you on your secure entry is the spotlessly clean condition the Home presents with absolutely no odours present and to discover that is throughout the whole building. It must rank as one of the finest Care Homes in the country because I just can't imagine any other facility approaching this level along with the superb attitude of the staff here. I am just an ordinary visitor but on a regular basis, and I witness staff kissing and cuddling their elderly people in their care regardless of the mental or physical condition. I have been in the fortunate position of running my own medium sized company and I know that dedicated staff make the huge differences in success or failure, running a company you soon discover they are the biggest asset of any company and this Care Home has managed to gather a wonderful caring team of staff together.
I gladly mark all the options as excellent without question.
