This is a Care home with a capital C, the kind you do not hear about in the press or T.V. The outstanding staff treat the residents with affection and dignity, and go above & beyond the call of duty. (Angels without wings). They have just organized a 100th birthday party for mother, it included all the residents, family and friends. Entertainment was provided, a wonderful buffet, a grand cake, and of course a card from the Queen. During the afternoon none of the residents were asleep in their chairs, they were too busy, singing, dancing (even though very slowly) and clapping away to the music. When you visit this home, you are always met with a welcoming smile from both residents and staff "hello, hi, cup of tea."
