Englewood is located in Egerton Park, which is a secluded private district of Rock Ferry on the Wirral Peninsula. The home is convenient for the A41 Chester Road and the M53 motorway link.

The home is constructed on three storeys with a two-storey side extension. The home benefits from an extensive lawned and landscaped rear garden and a very spacious car park at the front, which can accommodate a Mini-Bus, an Ambulance and 15 cars.

Englewood is a 24-bed registration Residential Care Home and provides accommodation in 23 spacious bedrooms, all single except one – 21 out of 23 are en-suite. These bedrooms are spread over three storeys, and the upper storeys can be accessed via a new 8-person lift. It also has many bathrooms, toilets and shower facilities external to the bedrooms. Residents may use the 2 lounges provided, these are equipped with televisions, video recorders and a piano - and a main dining room.

Residents can keep their own General Practitioner or we will arrange one for you, along with a Dentist, Optician, Dietician and Audiologist. Other specialist services such as Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy can also be arranged. The home benefits from regular visits by a local Hairdresser and Chiropodist. Religious preferences are respected and visits from local clergy are always welcomed or can be organised.

Care at Englewood is provided in the following ways - day, short-term (respite) or long-term care. Fees are inclusive of residential care and attention, all meals, laundry and in-house entertainment and various activities. Traditional home cooking is served with varied and nutritious menus being available. Special diets can, of course, be catered for. Residents are encouraged to provide feedback regarding menus.

Englewood owns a special 15-seater Mercedes Mini-Bus to tour its residents as and when the residents so wish. Day trips and outings - shopping, site-seeing and entertainment trips are available.
