Salisbury House

Finding the right place of mum was crucial to my peace of mind and her wellbeing. We were impressed from our first visit at Salisbury House, the building was obviously well cared for, staff professional but approachable and friendly. The most important thing though was that Mum was well cared for and this was certainly the case at Salisbury House. Nothing was too much trouble and all our friends who visited mum commented what a lovely atmosphere there was. In the end Mum's stay was short but I was relieved she didn't have the trauma of being moved to a nursing home.

It is always a difficult decision to put a loved one into a care home. In our case our mother who was 96 was not able to care for herself safely in her own home. However Salisbury House provides the type of care we as a family were looking for. As in all organisations the people they employ make the difference and in Salisbury House the management pick the right people for the job and it shows, be that direct caring staff, nursing staff, catering or cleaning.

Can't fault the care my mother has received over the last two years. Clean, friendly, plenty of company and entertainment for my mum. I know that she is safe and comfortable at Salisbury House.

My mother has been a resident at Salisbury House for the last 4 years. During that time she has been cared for extremely well by a dedicated staff. I have been kept informed at every stage of her care package and also any problems that have arisen. I would have no hesitation in recommending Salisbury House.

My 90 year old aunt spent three weeks in respite care whilst I was on holiday, she was a little tentative about going into respite as it was a first for her. When I came to bring her home she said she would like to stay permanently. She had been treated like a queen by the staff and management. She and her sister will be spending Christmas there. I cannot thank them enough.

I must say I would go there again if need be. The owner is a lovely lady made me feel very cared for. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Sue had friends and relations going for respite in care homes and they hated it I think my wife must have picked the best on the Wirral and I say Thank You to the lady manager and staff.
