My parents have been at The Bushells since July 2012. I am so impressed and so are all my parents' visitors. It is like a 5 star hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, Not only do they respond quickly to requests but they are also proactive in providing services. I know there is nowhere like your own home. However, the Bushells is the closest you can get within a safe 24/7 care setting. Visitors are always made welcome and offered meals and I can't recommend it highly enough.

My mum lived at Bushell House for a few years until she passed away after a few days in hospital. Mum loved living there and was always so beautifully treated by all the staff. She felt safe, properly cared for, and very content. When some of Bushell’s staff even came to Mum's funeral, that underlined just how much they care about their residents, as well as care for them. I never had a doubt or a worry about Mum's care in all the time she lived there. That was such a gift to Mum and all who loved her.

It gives me great pleasure to recommend Bushell House. My uncle was resident there for five months until unfortunately he passed away. He was a stubborn lovable old chap of 92, who had absolutely no intention of finishing his life in a care home. It took several falls, two hospital stays and a great amount of persuasion to get him to move in. At the beginning he was awkward, but it didn't take long thanks to the excellent staff at the Bushell House, for him to feel at home. The food was good, the care was excellent, the room was superb. My only regret is that I didn't persuade him to go in several months earlier as I think he would have still been here today.

My dad is very happy living in Bushell House. He moved in shortly after my mother died. I live a long way from there and during our phone conversations he always tells me how well cared for he is. He loves the view from his room and manages to get out and about. He likes it that there's a pub and church within walking distance. When I've visited with my son we've been made to feel most welcome, fed and entertained. So I've no hesitation in recommending Bushell House.
