A lovely homely environment where I feel mum is cared for by staff with compassion. The staff are all permanent and no agency are used which helps with continuity of care. I can rest easy that mum is in a loving, caring place with all her needs being met.
Review of Abraham House, Preston, Lancashire by Lynn W (Daughter of Resident)

We couldn't be happier with the care my mum gets. She has been so much better health wise, she's eating well and gets up and dressed every day. I think she wouldn't be here now if she wasn't getting the best care at this home. I really recommend this home.
Review of Abraham House, Preston, Lancashire by Elaine M (Daughter of Resident)
Thursday 23 February 2012
When I viewed Abraham House in April 2007, I was pleasantly surprised at the level of care and sensitivity shown by staff to the residents and it was this factor which influenced my decision. Mum moved in a week later. Since then I have consistently seen these same qualities shown to each and every resident. The Manager, works tirelessly to ensure that all residents are given the attention and care they deserve and challenges external professionals when appropriate to ensure that her charges are dealt with in a professional and sensitive way. The Manager cares deeply about her work and instils this dedication in her staff. Nothing is too much trouble, any queries are dealt with immediately and concerns are dealt with just as swiftly. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone looking for a home for their relative which is safe, well run and with dedicated caring and well trained staff in a homely environment.
