Whilst my mum was a resident at Hulton Care Home for approximately 18 months she was always treated with respect and as an individual, with all care and attention. She was always clean and nicely dressed with all her clothes co-ordinated and hair neatly done. All staff were friendly and always approachable and always give any information requested. When her health deteriorated I was always kept fully informed by the matron and the care they gave in her final days was excellent.

I really recommend Hulton Care. My mum is a resident here and it was a hard decision finding the right place for her. As soon as you walk in here the atmosphere is so friendly. A real family feel. The staff are really helpful and can't do enough to help. I feel contented knowing my mum is here and you can't put a price on that feeling.

Superb care given to my mother and step-father on a respite visit. As soon as you walk through the door you get a warm welcoming feeling. Staff extremely kind and caring, paying extra attention to personal details and needs. Very well staffed. A real home from home.

This care home was absolutely spotless. The staff genuinely cared for the residents. Events were organised. Excellent inter communication skills with the elderly. Food very good, lots of interaction. I personally would have been happier for mum to stay but funding was an issue with social services.

Our mum is waiting for a hip replacement and cannot manage at home, she is a bright articulate lady who finds this lack of independence very difficult. Whilst there are few residents she can develop friendships and relationships with the staff are wonderful! they treat her with respect and a sense of humour and she loves talking to them and gossiping and has developed some valuable friendships with them.

A very well organised and genuinely caring home. There is always a warm welcome for visitors and staff do their best to ensure their residents are well cared for and they go the extra mile to have special bonds with their residents. The meals are of a high standard and activities are always being organised.

Hulton Care is a very well run, warm and friendly home. The building is set in its own grounds, its bright and airy interior is maintained to a very high standard. The home takes about 35 to 40 people and this makes it a very personal feeling. The manager maintains a very high profile and all the staff are very pleasant. The food is excellent and the entertainment is very well organised with trips out and parties on all occasions.

I very much appreciated the visit made by the care home manager to see my mother in her own home, prior to admission. The invitation to lunch of fish and chips on Friday was an ideal tactic to put Mum at ease on the day of admission. A fortnight was all it took for Mum to settle in her new home and she has been very happy there for 3 years up to now. Health issues have been addressed e.g she no longer needs an oxygen tank as she has needed on a couple of occasions in earlier years and I remain confident that her medical needs are cared for extremely well.

Since Mam moved into the home in February, she has settled in remarkably well. Plenty going on with activities and she has a lovely room. Gets her hair done once a week and now has her nails cut and varnished. She is kept clean and showered or bathed regularly. We have now got peace of mind, knowing that she is being well looked after and is happy. We had a struggle to get her to move in as she was determined she was never going into a home. Her age is against her now so she had to accept our decision.

Both my parents moved into Hulton Care Home and were made to feel very welcome. Hulton is like one big happy family. Rooms are very modern and residents are able to bring their own furniture. Management are very supportive. Staff welcome you into the home anytime, always offering refreshments. Activities/entertainment is excellent, a great deal of thought is put into it.
