This privately owned home provides quality care and accommodation for elderly ladies, and is well renowned for its homely, family atmosphere. The highest levels of personal care and attention are provided whether for respite or the longer term. Nutritious home cooking is served and special diets can of course be catered for. The home has an open visiting policy and visitors are welcome to join residents for a meal either in their own room or the dining room.

Regular visits are made to the home by a chiropodist, optician and religious ministers. The home also features a hairdressing salon.

Heathfield offers a varied programme of activities and these include flower arranging, quizzes, arts and craft afternoons and an opportunity to reminisce.
