I had a friend who was a resident a number of years ago at Broughton Hall and whenever I would visit, the staff at the home were friendly and my friend seemed happy and settled at Broughton Hall care home.

My father had been a resident in Broughton Hall for approximately 10 months during which time the staff provided the best possible care my father and we as his family could have wished for. The manager - Gary is such a caring and compassionate person whose values ensure all residents are treated with dignity and respect at all times. Broughton Hall is a credit to his commitment to ensure the best possible standard of care is maintained for all the residents who live there. It has an excellent reputation and is the home it is today due to his commitment and values which cascades to his staff team who are equally so caring. There is always a wide range of activities/trips on offer each and every day, a newsletter and BH has a lovely warm welcoming atmosphere. It is so homely and has such lovely furnishings, there is always numerous bowls of sweets, crisps and fruit for residents to eat any time throughout the day. The staff engage with the residents in such a positive way and my father absolutely loved the excellent standard of freshly prepared food that was provided every day. The cooks had the courtesy to come to my fathers room every day to inform him what was on the menu and query what he would like. They would cook him his favourites on occasions and we will always be so grateful to them for ensuring he was so very well fed. We as a family cannot thank all the staff enough for the way they cared for my father. Broughton Hall sets the standard in residential care and I can highly recommend it anyone who is in the position of needing a residential home for their loved one.

My nana who was a resident here recently passed away and I can honestly say I am going to miss going there to see her. Gary who is in charge is such a lovely friendly person who cannot do enough to help you, his staff are lovely and there is plenty of entertainment to keep the residents occupied, I was never worried about my nana there as she was well looked after, always clean, tidy and whatever she needed she would have, a big thanks to everyone who looked after my nana so well, you all deserve medals for looking after the residents as well as you all do. x

My Nana lived at Broughton Hall for over two years. During her stay my Nana loved where she was living as this felt like home. Never have myself and my family seen such loving members of staff as Broughton Hall. Gary and the staff welcome and treat all residents like family. The care they give is excellent and I would recommend this care home to anyone. If you have the privilege to live here you would be very lucky.
