Chirk Court offers high-quality care in a warm, friendly and homely environment. The well-being, care comfort and quality of life for residents is the home's primary objective. The home is set in a quiet residential area of Chirk and is easily accessible to the amenities within the community. With over 23 years’ experience, Chirk Court has extended its services to meet the needs of residents living with dementia, which includes a new purpose-built extension which was completed in Spring 2016.
The unit offers state-of-the-art facilities, with four ‘households’, designed to a high standard, each housing 14 residents with a range of care needs. The design is based on the University of Stirling’s principles and standards of excellent dementia care delivery.
All staff are trained professionally and are qualified appropriate to their respective roles. This includes specialist training in caring for people living with dementia.
Catering staff pride themselves on knowing the individual preferences and needs of residents who can enjoy high-quality, nutritious and a varied selections of meals.
