Most homes that I visit smell of faces or urine and the staff are not helpful. I have had nothing but good vibes, cooperation and pleasant staff in Pen-y-garth and have never smelt any offensive smells due to regular toileting by the staff. The patients appear to be happy and love the staff that provide for them.

Very good and I would recommend. If it wasn't the best I would not put my mother and husband in the same home. They are both very happy. Staff and management are very caring and go above and beyond their rolls.

Words cannot express our gratitude and thanks for the care and love that you gave to my mum during her stay of 2 years at Pen-Y-Garth. You also gave Phil and me part of our lives back during those 2 years. We will always remember mum’s stay with you.

It is with some reservation that we are having to make this decision to transfer dad to join my mum who is now having to go into care near where we live some 30 miles or so from Pen-Y-Garth. I am unable to find words adequate to thank you …thank you all… for the marvellous care you have taken of Dad. I cannot fault the staff you have there….They’ll take some beating and you are all going to be a hard act to follow I don’t have to thank you on my dad’s behalf because despite his debilitating illness which nature casts so undeservedly on those dear to us, I know he thanks you himself every day in every way he can and he would want to bless you all for the love you have shown in your daily lives and in the work you do.

I am extremely grateful to you all for your patience and compassionate care for Clifford. He was not the easiest patient but you looked after him in a very special way and I really appreciate all you did for him. Thank you for everything and hope to see you all again.

Dear Michele and Staff, May I take this opportunity to say how wonderful Michele and all the staff were to my husband during his time in the care home. The staff showed him every care, kindness patience and devotion when I could no longer cope with his illness. My daughter, son-in-law and indeed all the family express our grateful thanks

I would like to thank you all for looking after and caring for my mum Doris during the last years of her life. Words cannot express how grateful and lucky I feel to have found your care home and the carers who work there. Mum was so well looked after and I feel that the care you gave comes from having big hearts and kindness in abundance. Many thanks and good wishes to you all
