My 74 year old brother(who had a learning disability) was a resident at Narberth House from 2010 until his very recent death. I believe he received exceptional care during that time. I live in Canada and so could not visit often, but had good communication with the owner and staff by telephone, especially when there were medical problems. His health status was scrupulously monitored, and appropriate medical appointments were made whenever necessary. Great efforts were made to find activities suitable for my brother, and to provide transport when necessary. In my observation every resident was spoken to with great respect and treated with dignity. The most important thing for me was the feeling that my brother was living in caring,family-like setting, and that he was very happy there.
