Rosewood is a residential service in Swansea for adults with autism and asperger syndrome with moderate to severe learning difficulties.
Rosewood enables individuals to become more confident and develop independence.
Each individual has their own individual learning programme of activities to help them develop the life and social skills they need to move on in the community.
Rosewood’s staff are fully trained in all areas within the autism spectrum and have behaviour advisors to support each individual.
Staff use a variety of communication methods including spoken language, sign language and visual strategies, so that they can communicate clearly with each person.
Rosewood staff understand how important it is to support the individual and not the syndrome, recognising individual potential whenever possible.
