Millburn Care Homes are residential facilities for adults with learning disabilities. Providing a quality, needs-led service with emphasis on social inclusion and independence. Millburn consists of three, eight- bedded bungalows, all with their own individual facilities including kitchens, utility rooms, dining rooms and lounges. The Homes are set in their own grounds in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Glasgow with good transport links to the city centre. Each resident has an allocated key worker and associate key worker to assist them in their day-to-day care and to enhance each individual’s life skills on a need led basis. Each bedroom is decorated to the individual’s tastes and furnished appropriately. The Home has a 12 seater minibus for the residents use to enable them to access the community fully. Most of our residents enjoy a full social life and staff within Millburn regularly host parties to which family and friends are invited. |
