Broadlands Nursing Home is a well established care home located in a quiet residential area in Cheam, Surrey. We provide nursing care for the elderly and frail, specialising in demntia care. Broadlands Nursing Home is extremely proud to be one of the few care homes to have achieved Commend status with the National Gold Standards Framework (GSF) Programme. Our Home has been managed by the same Nursing Manager for over 12 years and many members of staff have been working here for just as long. Our aim at Broadlands Nursing Home is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all our residents. We are committed to providing each resident with an individual care plan to suit their specific needs. We are also committed to maintaining a caring, friendly, homely and happy atmosphere. Excellent care, my mother's health has improved since arriving at the home, and she is very happy. Mrs Porter and all the staff are very caring.

Our main concern in choosing a nursing home for my 90 year old mother, who is very frail and suffering from dementia, was the quality of care she would receive. The staff team at Broadlands, led by Matron Mrs Porter treat each resident as an individual with care concern and gentleness. Their patience and good humour create a calm and happy atmosphere, and they are always respectful, polite and helpful to residents and their visitors. In the residential home where she was previously, my mother had to go into hospital with a chest infection, a traumatic experience for her as the hospital staff had no idea how to look after someone with dementia. At Broadlands, unless she has a fracture, my mother will remain there to be nursed by the staff she knows and trusts.
