Review of Broadlands Nursing Home Ltd on Monday 9 September 2013 by Susan B (Daughter of past resident)
The manager at this home has been there a long time and is dedicated to her work. Many of the staff have been there years, so there is not a great turnover of staff for residents to get used to. The home is kept spotlessly clean. Residents are very well looked after. The manager set up a friends of Broadlands committee to raise extra money for entertainment of the residents. Whenever you go the staff are always very friendly and helpful, and the residents seem contented.

I can recommend this home to people who have a relative that needs dementia care as all the staff here are caring and loving and know how to handle the ups and downs of such an illness. It is a well run home lead by Matron and it is always such a happy place. I am so grateful to the staff and I would not want my mum to be anywhere else.

Excellent care, my mother's health has improved since arriving at the home, and she is very happy. Mrs Porter and all the staff are very caring.
Review of Broadlands Nursing Home Ltd on Monday 2 April 2012 by Mrs D H (Daughter of Resident)
Our main concern in choosing a nursing home for my 90 year old mother, who is very frail and suffering from dementia, was the quality of care she would receive. The staff team at Broadlands, led by Matron Mrs Porter treat each resident as an individual with care concern and gentleness. Their patience and good humour create a calm and happy atmosphere, and they are always respectful, polite and helpful to residents and their visitors. In the residential home where she was previously, my mother had to go into hospital with a chest infection, a traumatic experience for her as the hospital staff had no idea how to look after someone with dementia. At Broadlands, unless she has a fracture, my mother will remain there to be nursed by the staff she knows and trusts.

Lovely light rooms. Staff happy and cheerful. Happy atmosphere every time I visit. Everyone of the residents always looks nice, dressed nicely with hair combed and everyone smells fresh.
