Although not something we wanted to do, as we felt it is best for our dad to be in his own home, we looked at a number of Nursing Homes in our area as our dad was being discharged from Hospital with both physical and mental challenges that could not be managed at home and after careful consideration we selected Heatherbrook. From the very first day of our dad arriving he has had the best care we could wish for, both physically and mentally. The Home itself is very clean with a freshness that indicates attention to detail when cleaning, the food is very well prepared and presented and even on occasions when the food has to be pureed it is still appetising to look at and tasteful but the best thing of all is the staff who are kind, helpful and very attentive spending as much time as is necessary to help our dad be that encouraging him to eat or looking after his physical needs. Although a Nursing Home was not our first choice for our dad Heatherbrook is a very well run Home that is making our dad's twilight years as comfortable, safe and enjoyable as you could wish for and I cannot recommend the Home enough.
