Lancaster Lodge care home provides quality care based on respect for the residents, their right to make choices, maintain dignity and receive the best of care to suit individual needs. The home has been tastefully decorated throughout with individual décor in each bedroom to meet the requirements and needs of each resident. There are 25 en-suite bedrooms accommodating 33 residents. A qualified nurse/key worker is assigned to each resident ensuring a holistic approach to individual care and daily fulfilment. Each member of staff is trained to ensure that our residents’ personal dignity is maintained at all times. Residents are welcome to bring in personal items and small pieces of furniture to personalise their own room. The in-house chef ensures a choice of menus creating fresh, nutritious, homemade meals catering for all cultural, medical diets and personal preferences. Outside entertainers visit the home on a regular basis.Activities are planned to meet the residents’ needs.
