Murrayfield is situated near Edmonton town centre, in a residential area of Enfield. Shops, public transport and local amenities are closeby. Road and rail links are within easy reach also.

The home comprises 3 units - the Holyrood and Waverley units are for frail elderly residents requiring nursing care, whilst Heriot is a unit for mentally ill elderly requiring dementia care. Accommodation is provided in en-suite single occupancy rooms.

The home provides several lounges and quiet areas where residents can relax. Meals are taken in the separate dining rooms provided, where residents can socialise. Traditional home cooked food using fresh produce is served (daily choices available), with special diets being catered for.

The home is visited regularly by an experienced hair stylist and a qualified chiropodist. Laundry for residents is undertaken by the home.

Various activities are provided for residents.
