My Daughter Lisa is a 51 year old with downs syndrome. She suffered 2 bleeds on the brain in October 2013 followed by a 3rd operation for an infection. This has left her incontinent and wheelchair bound. She has been present at Beacher Hall for the last 10 months. Her needs are great. Also her emotional needs. These are met with wonderful care. Indeed loving care, Beacher is now her home. I would highly recommend them.

The atmosphere and feel of the place is really lovely. It is more like a first class hotel than a nursing home. Everyone is very friendly and are never too busy to talk to you. The staff are long term so as far as my sister is concerned the people who look after her are pretty much always someone she knows. Some of the staff have been there since she came to the home in 2008.

We are more than grateful that our daughter, who has been resident at Beacher Hall for almost two years has been so well cared for. We are always welcomed by staff both medical, domestic and administrative whenever we visit. This excellent atmosphere has allowed our daughter to relax and feel completely at ease and cared for to such a high standard.

Philip has been a resident in Beacher Hall for just about 3 years and is happier than any previous home he has resided in. Both staff and residents are kind and caring with Philip which gives him confidence and the ability to cope. He appears happy and content and it is a real pleasure to visit him and spend time together.

My son, Andrew, has been at Beachers Hall since August 2006 with Parkinson's. At first he was a difficult resident, but gradually settled and is now very happy. The activities are very well chosen and he enjoys escorted outings to Reading Centre. Staff are kind and efficient.

Mum is cared for with dignity and warmth. Considerable effort is made to occupy and stimulate residents according to their individual needs and interests. Careful attention is given to ensure that residents interact appropriately with each other. (I cant assess "value for money" below as I have nothing to compare Beacher Hall with, but it does seem a lot to pay each month)
