Burnham Lodge dates from about 1900 and has been carefully restored to recreate a country house atmosphere, planned as a comfortable environment in which residents can continue to enjoy their individual way of life. Fully carpeted and centrally heated, the house offers a warm welcome. The lounge has magnificent views of the gardens. The elegant dining room provides a delightful setting in which to enjoy the very high standard of cuisine. There are 26 comfortable single rooms and 13 double rooms, tastefully furnished, most with en- suite facilities. Each has colour television and resident/nurse call systems, as well as full internal and external telephone facilities. Residents are encouraged to bring in some personal items of furniture, pictures and ornaments to their rooms to add a personal touch |
