My mother has been at Chalfont Lodge for a month. My Mother is very happy here and has settled in very quickly. The dementia care is excellent, as are the carers who are very professional and kind. As a family we have had several other experiences of care homes over the last year, for respite care and the standards at Chalfont Lodge are outstanding compared to our previous experiences. Unfortunately we are no longer able to cope with my mother's care needs at home and have placed her in permanent care at Chalfont lodge. We are so pleased with the care she is getting here and are absolutely confident all of her needs are being met. It's a second home for my father who spends many happy hours with my mother in the care home and enjoying walks in the well kept grounds.

My son has been at Chalfont Lodge for nearly eight years. The carers are wonderful, also the nurses go that extra mile to make sure my son is looked after in every way. Although he is unable to speak they always talk to him, he is always smiling. I always say I am so lucky to have him reside in this very caring home.

My son has been a resident at Chalfont Lodge since June 2012, following a hypoglycaemic attack which left him severely brain damaged and unable to talk or walk. In the two years that have passed, my son has received all the Chalfont Lodge hospitality, care, attention and medical support which has made him a member of the Chalfont Lodge family. We also feel like members of the same family and we are pleased to visit our son on a regular basis.

My wife has been cared for at Chalfont Lodge since 2001. She has severe multiple sclerosis and is totally paralysed. I have had no complaints whatsoever in the 11 years that she has been there. The home is run in a very professional manner and the staff are excellent.
