Denham Manor Care Home with Nursing

My mother has been a resident at Denham Manor for 2 and a half years now, also my father before he passed away last year. During this time I have had no reason to complain about anything. All the staff are very caring and the nursing care is also good. Lovely nurses, nice the residents see the same faces. The home is run by and an excellent manager, her door is always open so you can talk to her at anytime. The refurbishment at the home recently is very nice and along with the beautiful gardens makes Denham Manor a nice place to live. I would recommend it to anymore.

Each time we visit the home we are made welcome, offered refreshments and find the staff, nurses and carers very friendly and show concern and consideration towards our aunt. We are most grateful for their help and care as we are unable to visit on a regular basis and rely 100% on their services.

Very good welcome and help settling into the home. Carers in general are very kind and caring. Nursing care and concern is very good. Refurbishment being undertaken during the first few weeks but did not cause any concerns.

Description:

As Home Manager at Denham Manor Care Home, Jayne Muir leads a professional staff team to deliver high standards of residential and specialist nursing care for up to 44 elderly people.

A trained nurse, Jayne has dedicated over 15 years to providing outstanding care, working both as a Regional Manager and a Home Manager. Jayne chose to join Caring Homes after being inspired by Helena Jeffery's ethos of focusing care on the individual, an approach Jayne has taken with her to Denham Manor.

Since joining the team at Denham Manor, Jayne has built strong relationships with residents and staff alike, adding to the homes warm and friendly atmosphere. As Manager, she hopes to continue to contribute to Caring Homes excellent reputation for quality care.

Jayne gains huge satisfaction from the positive feedback she receives from residents and their relatives, and she takes pleasure in getting to know each individuals unique history and seeing how it can inform their tailored care.

Jayne's proudest achievement is to have survived breast cancer. After doctors initially failed to diagnose the disease, Jayne campaigned tirelessly for better diagnostic practice, and was invited to give a talk on patient safety at the World Health Organisation. This experience played a major role in Jayne's passion to ensure residents have the highest quality of life.

Having lived in Buckinghamshire for nine years, Jayne describes the area as the perfect mix of rolling countryside and easy access to London. In her personal life Jayne enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren and watching rugby.
