“An ideally situated Care Home with Nursing offering a high standard of care by our specialist team"
Alverstoke House is a purpose built, family run nursing home specialising in Caring for the Elderly who have complex nursing care needs. We also specialise in terminal care and provide care for those needing nursing after leaving hospital before returning home.
Situated in Alverstoke Village and adjacent to Stokes Bay, Alverstoke House offers the most modern Fire Protection and Nurse Call Sytems, together with passenger lifts with wheelchair facility. We have built up an excellent reputation in the Alverstoke Area, working closely with the hospitals, GP's surgerys and other health professionals.
We have thirty beds which are mostly en-suite, two sitting rooms, a dining room and two conservatories. The gardens overlook a Koi Carp Pond and have a landscaped area to the rear where residents and their visitors often have tea. Meals are home cooked using fresh produce to provide a nutritious and balanced menu. Individual requirements and special diets are catered for.
We operate an open door policy for visits of family and friends. We welcome visits from any clients or their family who are thinking of coming to Alverstoke House. We welcome clients for a trial period. We have a non smoking policy within the home. We also do not accommodate pets.
We are members of the Registered Nursing Home Association and use the Blue Cross Mark of Excellence Quality Assurance System.
