Review of Langdale Nursing Home, Gosport, Hampshire by Robina Hatchett (Daughter of Resident)
Friday 16 November 2012
My stepmother has been at Langdale for nearly 5 years. I have every confidence that she is well cared for, clean, supervised, fed properly, entertained and generally kept happy in her own way. She suffers from dementia and Alzheimers and does not communicate voluntarily. For personal reasons I do not visit her often, but always find her looking well cared for. Management of the home is first class. I am kept informed of any problems with medication etc. I really can recommend this place.

Review of Langdale Nursing Home, Gosport, Hampshire by Jean Priest (Sister of resident)
Friday 12 October 2012
My brother has been a resident at Langdale Nursing Home for over 19 years. He has lived there from the age of 41, suffering from multiple sclerosis. At all times he has been cared for with professionalism by the nursing staff who have addressed his needs always bearing in mind his age. There are events and entertainment provided and the staff always encourage residents to join in. All of his needs are met, and the staff deserve praise for their commitment and care.

The home has a comfortable atmosphere in the lounges and the rooms are warm and homely. Those residents who require their own space can do so. All the staff are caring and are aware of individual residents requirements.

Dad is very happy at Langdale. It is a caring atmosphere and he is so well looked after, nothing is too much trouble. We were going to find somewhere for him closer to where we live to save the considerable journey to visit him but would not dream of doing so now as he is part of the family at Langdale and we don't think it can be bettered.

Review of Langdale Nursing Home, Gosport, Hampshire by Janet Lowe (Daughter of Resident)
Thursday 4 October 2012
My mother has been in this nursing home for 10 months and could not have been looked after any better anywhere else. Her room is absolutely spotless and her bedding is always fresh and clean. Every member of staff is very caring towards her and her personal hygiene is excellent. All of her needs have been catered for and nothing is ever to much trouble by any member of the staff. The food she is offered is also very good and the kitchens are open for anyone to see and the standard of cleanliness is very high. I would highly recommend this nursing home.

Review of Langdale Nursing Home, Gosport, Hampshire by Brian Cox (Father of Resident)
Monday 1 October 2012
My Son has unfortunately been in residential care for several years following a road traffic accident resulting in him suffering severe brain damage. He has been a resident in several care homes, some better than others. However, since being at Langdale we have never seen him so happy and contented. Due to the very high level of care at Langdale we would not hesitate in giving it a personal excellent grading.

Review of Langdale Nursing Home, Gosport, Hampshire by Mr Ronald G (Relative of Resident)
Wednesday 26 August 2009
`.. My sister has been in the home for 8 years and I visit at least twice a week.. The carers are always polite, clean and helpful with any questions. The kitchen door is always wide open displaying a spotless kitchen and a cheerful cook. The home can boast of a nice clean smell about it. The entertaining girls are always on the ball, with old and new forms of entertainment. The food is always first class and plenty of it. The manager is one of the best...
