Review of Ashview Nursing Home, Ware, Hertfordshire by debbie h (daughter in law of past resident)
Sunday 11 December 2011
This place is more than a care home it is a big famliy that is the only way to describe Ashview. When Laura went in she was 5 stone and was asleep all day and was said to have the early stages of dementia after being there for 3 days she was awake all day long and within 5 days totally with it. She spent 4 very happy years there and in that time put on 4 stone due to all the lovley home cooked food many of the veg from the garden and all the beautiful fresh meat from the local butchers. There is a good continuety of staff many have been there for over 7 years. Laura sadly passed away 2 years ago but we still go back to see some of the residents who we have made friends with and all the staff who when you go back remember your name and are so pleased to see you. I would be happy to send any member of my family to this lovely place and would recommend it to anyone.
