A new, purpose built specialist dementia home in the historic town of Abingdon. Abingdon offers dementia services that cater for all levels of dementia care and can offer residents a seamless provision of support services through time as specific needs arise. Abingdon has worked hard to create a person centred approach to its work and benefits from a progressive and experienced management team. The home is equipped with 64 single en suite rooms, a hairdressing salon, private parking, as well as a lounge and dinning facilities on each floor. All the rooms have TV and telephone points, while the garden is well stocked, and with its south facing aspect, is bathed in light for most of the day. The river Ock forms a natural boundary to the rear of the garden. Abingdon has a dedicated events co-ordinator and provides excellent, home cooked food made from fresh ingredients, such as the bread that is baked on site.
