Huntercombe Hall is located in the beautiful village of Nuffield and is close to the picturesque towns of Nettlebed, Wallingford and a 15 minute drive from Henley on Thames. Located just off the A4130 Huntercombe is well located for shops, facilities and amenities whilst enjoying views over rural countryside and woodland
This elegant Victorian Manor House provides light and attractive accommodation over two floors which comprises of 42 single en-suite rooms.
Huntercombe Hall is a stunning Victorian property that has been sympathetically converted in to a care home of distinction and is stooped in history and provenance. Reputed to have been a former interrogation centre during World War 2, Huntercombe is believed to have been the venue of Rudolf Hess’s interrogation as well as many other high ranking Nazi officers.
The Hall provides light and attractive accommodation over two floors with a grand sweeping oak staircase and lift linking the ground and first floor making all areas of the home accessible.
The grounds at Huntercombe Hall provide a haven of wildlife and an idyllic location for residents. The home is surrounded by large landscaped gardens with level lawns which are ideal for residents to enjoy during the summer months.
The care and well being of each individual in our care is paramount. We offer flexible and unobtrusive care which is delivered by qualified nurses who are supported by care assistants.
Our aim is to provide care that is as discreet and flexible as possible, and as such we operate a ‘named nurse’ and ‘key worker system’. The named nurse and key worker systems offer continuity by allocating a named nurse and care assistant to each resident, this helps to create familiarity between residents and staff.
Food is an important aspect of daily life at Huntercombe and our kitchen team place an emphasis on traditional cooking, variety and choice. Meals can be taken in our large dining room or in the garden weather permitting.
If you are interested in a home that provides a dedicated team striving to incorporate all individuals needs then contact our home manager to arrange a visit.

Review of Huntercombe Hall Care Home with Nursing, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire by Margaret S (Sister of resident)

My sister has been at Huntercombe for 4 1/2 years. Her care is excellent. Each and every one of the staff is kind, caring and at all times will go out of their way to help my sister (or me). The home is spacious and the rooms bright and cheerful. I feel very fortunate to have found such a 'caring home'.

Review of Huntercombe Hall Care Home with Nursing, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire by Pam Speed (Sister-in-law of resident)
Monday 8 April 2013
It was good to see that the home had employed a lady who was there 5 days per week - playing games, singing, painting, using wool different ways, all good stimulation for the residents - very impressed. Staff very friendly - treated the residents with lots of care and understanding. Also they are taken out for a meal occasionally. Birthday cake for each resident. I could for on forever!! All in all a great place to be when the needs arise.

Review of Huntercombe Hall Care Home with Nursing, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire by Mary Todd (Wife of Resident)
Wednesday 12 September 2012
At last I have been asked to do something that gives me great pleasure. Recently I had to part with my husband and find a home for him to spend the next years of his life. This building but more the people working in it seemed just right for the job. Gradually he has settled in and has even called the hall home. He has lost a lot of his resentment to his change of life and has even put on a lot of weight.
