Isis Care and Retirement Centre is registered for eighty residents and offers a team of skilled and friendly carers, able to provide care for older people and those with dementia, while also being able to offer respite care.

Job Title: Housing and Care Manager
Isis Court and Shotover View provide Extra Care accommodation for 76 clients in Oxford. Both schemes employ highly dedicated team of over thirty two care staff, which are led by the manager and a team of Care Leaders.
Anna Indrzejczyk has been the manager of both Schemes since November 2013. She has over 7 years experience in looking after older generation which include 4 years when she was leading and managing team of care staff. Before her move to Extra Care Housing she was working in Townsend House Care Home in Oxford where she gained her experience in looking after people as well as in leading team of carers.
Anna graduated from Opole University of Technology in 2007 with MSc in Marketing and Management and since working with Orders of St John Care Trust completed numbers of short courses and trainings covering all aspects of caring for elderly including Dementia and palliative care. Anna also completed Leadership training programme, Equality and Diversity and Sustainable Development courses which gave her knowledge in both care and housing aspects of her job role to ensure that high standard of living and working is maintained.
New role often meets new challenges and Anna is confident that they will not stop her but make her stronger in achieving the best possible results.
Job Title: Home Manager
The eighty residents at Isis House looked after by a highly dedicated team of over one hundred and thirty staff, which include nurses, carers, admin assistants and ancillary staff. They are led by the manager who is supported by a Head of Care and a team of Care Leaders.
Valerie Jarvis has been the manager of Isis House since 2012. She has over 33 years’ experience in the Care Home setting, originally with Oxfordshire County Council and then transferring to The Orders of St John Care Trust in December 2001. Valerie has progressed her way up from a Care Assistant to Manager. Valerie has been a Registered Manager since 1993 and has managed homes from 34 residents’ to being a dual manager, with a combined total of 100 residents.
Valerie holds a Social work qualification along with a Diploma in Management, NVQ Level 4 in Management and the Registered Manager’s Award. Valerie has completed numerous short courses covering all aspects of caring for the elderly including palliative care. These ensure that all residents on the residential and nursing units at Isis House receive the best care from staff.
Valerie sets high standards of conduct and performance for herself and her staff. As a result she is proud that every inspection of the homes she has managed, by either the Care Quality Commission or its predecessor - the Commission for Social Care Inspection, has successfully rated them as meeting, or exceeding, the standards of care expected.
