Merryfield House Nursing Home is a beautiful Cotswold stone manor house, formally the home of a “Witney Blanket” family. It is set in tranquil gardens on the outskirts of the market town of Witney itself. Built in 1922 it has since been sympathetically converted into a Care Home with Nursing for 19 Residents. The home has 2 areas, the main house with its magnificent entrance hall with sweeping staircase leading directly into the public rooms and secondly, the purpose built ground floor extension for single ensuite accommodation, all with French windows. These are connected by a tasteful glass and wood connecting link corridor with a tastefully designed lounge area. The main lounge is very pretty with a characteristic inglenook fireplace and offers lovely views of the garden. Merryfield House has twice been awarded the Investors in People Accreditation of which we are very proud and also the top CQC rating of "Excellent”.

All staff are trained to a very high standard with either NVQ level 2,3 and 4 in Care and Management plus Customer Care and training in Hospitality which will give you that little bit extra as they care for you and your families.
