Review of Coppice Lea Care Home with Nursing

My mother moved into Coppice Lea, she grew to like the place and was very happy there. Mother made many friends. she got on with everyone. Mother had several strokes towards the end. The care and dedication of staff was outstanding which made her passing easier. It was a great comfort to us knowing that they were there for her. We shall never forget the care mum received. Thank you.

Compasion
My mother in law has been a resident at Coppice Lea for over 2 years. She has been confined to her bed since having a number of strokes. She has been very well looked after by the staff. Unfortunately she had another stroke and fell into a coma. The care and support my mother in Law and my wife and I received from the management and staff until she passed away was outstanding.

Review of Coppice Lea Care Home with Nursing

I have a dear friend who has dementia and took up residence in early May. It was a most distressing time for her and her family. She has settled so happily and this can only be due to the professional and caring way that she has been treated. I have seen many care homes and this one is wonderful.

Coppice Lea is an excellent nursing home which has made my mothers dementia so much more bearable. They have made her so welcome and the staff and manager are second to none. The activities and outings have made her so much happier and nothing is too much trouble.

My mother was moved from another residential home to Coppice Lea almost two months ago. She has settled in really well. She has dementia and the staff seem well trained and understanding. The manager in particular has been very supportive and we are very pleased with the place.

All the team from the top to the bottom at Coppice Lea have been so helpful in helping mum & dad to settle in to a "new" way of life over these last few weeks, especially as this has been such a big change at their time of life. A very big thank you to all the team.

Review of Coppice Lea Care Home with Nursing

After three miserable weeks in hospital, unable to return home, and suffering from dementia, we faced yet another change of situation for our mother with trepidation. Two weeks after arriving at Coppice Lea she is more relaxed and taking part in activities with enjoyment. We are surprised at the speed at which the staff have understood her needs and character. She has been welcomed so warmly, as have we.

Review of Coppice Lea Care Home with Nursing

The staff at Coppice Lea cared for my father for seventeen months after he was put on the end of life programme in hospital. They were unfailingly kind, gentle and friendly with him and made his final months much happier and more comfortable (and much longer) than they would otherwise have been. I am pleased to say that I have come to regard the staff as my friends.

The staff were very caring and genuinely cared about the welfare of the resident. Mt Raj Boodhoo is splendid. Very high profile around the home, willing to talk to relatives, always talking to staff and obviously respecting them. Room decorated to a high standard and nothing to much trouble to accommodate personal effects e.g. new TV.

My wife is in Coppice Lea since May 2010. She suffered a severe stroke in 2004. I cared for her, with help, as long as possible. In Coppice Lea she is getting the best care and attention she could possibly get. The nurses and carers are all first class.

Review of Coppice Lea Care Home with Nursing

The staff at Coppice Lea are all kind, caring and hard working. They are extremely patient with the residents, treating them with respect and dignity and so they create a happy atmosphere. The nursing staff always know when residents are unwell they treat the symptoms, then report back to relatives. All the staff are very approachable and willing to sort out any queries. The residents are safe, well looked after and cared for in beautiful surroundings. There are plenty of activities for those residents who are capable of participating. I have not seen all the rooms and facilities, so I don't know if they are all excellent and I have not seen all the activities but those I have seen have been excellent.

Review of Coppice Lea Care Home with Nursing

My mother was at Coppice Lea for 2 years, I cannot fault the care she was given. She was allowed to have some of her own furniture so it was nice that her room contained familiar things. Care was taken in dressing her in matching clothes. Her room was cleaned regularly. She had special dietary needs that were discussed with chef which helped her to manage nourishing foods. Although there is a beautiful dining room, she chose to eat meals in her room and was never put under pressure to join others there. There's always entertainment, activities and trips out. My mother just loved being in the garden!

Review of Coppice Lea Care Home with Nursing

I recommend this care because the carers are really friendly and caring to residents in the home. The carers are also very helpful when you visit a resident in the home. The kitchen staff are also very helpful as well, they cater for the residents needs, if your relative needs certain foods they can order it in for them. The nurse that is on duty on each day/night is also very friendly and helpful.
