Coxhill Manor has a gloriously secluded location, close to Chobham, just half a mile from the Village Hall along Station Road, the A3046. The Manor buildings are set back from the main road and local buses stop at the end of the drive. Chobham is a charming village in Surrey, with easy access by road from Berkshire, North Hampshire and South West London. It is only ten minutes drive from the M25 motorway around London, from the M3 Southampton, to London motorway and from the A3 main road from Portsmouth to London. Coxhill Manor is two miles from Woking Station, a major junction on the main lines from London. Coxhill Manor is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection to provide both short and long term care packages to elderly people, who require Nursing Care, Residential Care and Dementia Care. General Description Coxhill Manor is a splendid example of a fine English Country House. Its Elizabethan origins are visible in places, while the central building is Victorian, with later Edwardian additions. Fine period features are evident throughout, including beautiful stained glass windows, period fireplaces and parquet flooring. The guest services at Coxhill Manor are second to none which is more akin to a country house hotel, as opposed to a care home. The hotels standards are evident the moment that you enter Coxhill Manor where you are greeted by our reception team. As you progress through the building the smell of home baking is often evident, and the dining room areas present attractive venues for socialising and of course enjoying the fine cuisine prepared by one of our 3 qualified chefs. Afternoon tea is another enjoyable part of the day, where our residents get the opportunity to enjoy a variety of home baked cakes and pastries. There is a great deal of choice in personal living space, with a number of well appointed single en-suite bedrooms, companion rooms and suites, many of which have French doors opening onto private tiled terraces or roof gardens, all of our rooms also have colour television and a telephone point as well as intercom and call buttons. There are a number of elegant communal sitting and dining rooms located throughout the home, all of which feature traditional antique furnishings and floor coverings, enhancing the homes period elegance. Our large conservatory is also a particularly popular spot, whether for entertaining or to enjoy a wide range of activities and social functions. The 5 acres of landscaped gardens are a particular feature at Coxhill Manor, with lawns, a colonnaded walk, lily ponds, rose garden, an orchard, copses, woods and parkland next to Chobham Common. Those who regard themselves as “green fingered” can exercise their talents in their own private terrace garden just outside their suite; others prefer croquet or bowls and walks along the pathways. The care provided at Coxhill Manor is second to none, tailored care plans are drawn up on an individual basis to ensure that care delivery is discreet and appropriate, care plans are regularly reviewed so that they can be adjusted as a persons needs change, ensuring appropriate care delivery at all times. Care is delivered through 24 hours a day by qualified nurses and healthcare assistants who work with residents to ensure that they can achieve the best possible standard of life and highest degree of independence that their personal circumstances permit. Throughout the week our dedicated activities co-ordinator, plans hobbies, events and activities that can be enjoyed by all, these will include flower arranging, arts and crafts and musical recitals. Other special interests can be accommodated. At Coxhill Manor special occasions are celebrated in a special way.
