My husband and I are recommending Woodside because we feel very happy and relaxed that my father-in-law is there. We have the utmost respect for each and every one of the dedicated staff and there is (in our opinion) nowhere better, as Woodside has everything to offer. Our grateful thanks to everyone there, we could not have wished for more. Father-in-law is very happy and settled and he states that he would never want to leave such a wonderful place.

Never having been in a nursing home before, I find this a very pleasant experience. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Meal times are looked forward to. Visitors are welcomed and enjoy coming. We have an activities instructor who keeps us occupied with so many things, which is much enjoyed. My room is cleaned every day, as is the whole of the place.

I am very happy here, everyone goes out of their way to help you. You just ring the bell and everyone comes to see what you need. The food is very good and varied- my favourite is Friday's as it's Fish & chips day. Activities are very good, The activity lady works very hard. I like musical bingo, I enjoy the yearly fete. The gardens are very nice and I enjoy going with walks with Ron when he is avaliable.

I feel the staff are helpful, friendly and kind. Wonderful setting with wildlife, easy access to polegate. The gardens are kept to a high standard, pathway all around the building, easy access for wheelchairs. New conservatory overlooking the gardens. The home is decorated to a high standard. Plenty of activities always going on ie: cheese & wine afternoon, shove apenny, jigsaw puzzles, reading poetry, film club, walks, shopping, trips along the seafront with refreshments, christmas pantomine, local entertainers, annual summer fete, Easter Raffle. Church service from Local church. A welcome home with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Always smells nice & clean and fresh. Plenty of car parking avaliable. The food is excellent - 2 chefs are wonderful always able to speak with them. They will listen to your suggestions. There is a choice of 3 dishes avaliable a day - my favourite meal is sausage toad which is great! Looking forward to meeting new resident's why not come & visit us.
