The Red House offers a wide range of individualised residential care plans to the elderly and to the young and physically disabled. Care is available for short or long term stays and includes nursing and palliative care, as well as care and support to people living with dementia, Parkinson's and Huntington's disease.
With full lift access and an easily accessible garden the home is suitable for residents with differing levels of mobility. All bedrooms have ensuite facilities and a 24 hour call system and some of the bedrooms can accommodate two people. Comfortable communal areas provide the ideal setting to relax or socialise with friends and family.
A wide variety of nutritious meals are served, all prepared with only fresh ingredients and all dietary tastes and preferences are discussed on arrival. Residents can choose to eat in the dining room or in the privacy of their own room if preferred.
The wide range of activities includes painting, cookery and relaxation sessions, and local entertainers and musicians are frequent visitors. Trips to places of interest also feature regularly on the activities’ calendar of events.
