General Description Purpose built as a care home and set in large attractive gardens, Brooklyn House Nursing Home is conveniently located close to the centre of Attleborough, Norfolk. We offer residents a warm, friendly and relaxed environment. Specifically designed for caring for elderly people, the home is equipped with every modern facility to ensure high standards. Complete with an attractive patio area, the extensive landscaped gardens are a particular feature – a peaceful place to sit and enjoy fine weather. Residents accommodation is arranged over two floors. Our excellent communal areas on the ground floor consist of a large lounge / dining room and a separate “quiet” lounge. We have a choice in both single and companion rooms, which are all fitted with, call bells, television points and have en-suite facilities, most of our rooms enjoy views over the attractive gardens. At Brooklyn House the focus is firmly on catering for residents individual needs. Our dedicated team of qualified nurses and experienced care assistants provides support in an unobtrusive manner 24 hours a day. Person centered care is at the forefront of our care planning. Our philosophy is ensuring that residents maximise their quality of life with the provision of a perfectly tailored care plan. Every effort is made to discuss and implement personal wishes and requirements. An in-depth individual needs assessment is conducted either before or on admission to the home, which precisely identifies physical, social, spiritual and mental requirements.
