A perfect little paradise where mum passed away peacefully - we cannot thank the staff enough for the care and compassion shown to mum and in particular the family. And the afternoon teas were brilliant!!

My husband was in Oulton Park for 2 1/2 months. He was treated with great respect and his every need was looked after in a wonderful manner. His death was made so much easier because there was always someone with him. Even after this had happened some of his carers came to his funeral to pay their respects. This is a wonderful home in every aspect.

This is one of the best care homes I have been to. The staff are like family. They make you feel welcome and always help in any way they can. The food is excellent all the time and better than some restaurants I have been to. The home is very well presented and very clean spotless. I would definitely recommend this home to everyone.

No better place.
My father has been in Barchester House just over a year now, suffering severe dementia. It's a lovely clean bright place to be. The staff are welcoming and friendly whenever you visit and certainly care for the residents. nothing is too much trouble and any concerns I've had have been swiftly dealt with. food is of a very high standard and as Xmas approached little treats were often delivered. Chocolates and wine or a glass of beer for residents. Entertainment is often brought in from outside too. I know my dad is well cared for and certainly couldn't ask for more.

Originally attended the coffee morning in the music room and was very impressed. Owing to 3 weeks in hospital, offered a bed at Oulton which was accepted. Would recommend to others in this situation as better than other homes visited.

My husband has previously receieved respite care in various homes but I must admit Oulton Park is by far the best - my husband is now a permanent resident - with his required nursing care needs. It is clean and above all smell free! The staff are the best experienced - friendly and always there to help, friendly but professional with their duties. I always find my husband clean and tidy and I get informed of any concerns or changes. Above all it is my own peace of mind after having to make a decision about his permanent care, which was very difficult to make.
