St George Care Centre

St George Care Centre is located within a pleasant residential area of East Bristol, and is within walking distance of local amenities and beautiful parks. St Georges Park is walking distance from the home, and provides summer entertainment and a local library for keen readers. The city centre is only 3 miles away and the home is convenient for all major roads, bus services and motorways.

This modern, purpose built care home provides dedicated nursing care and support for up to 68 elderly people over the age of 50, and facilitates care and support for up to 5 people under the age of 50.

Rooms are individually decorated and personalised, and residents are encouraged to bring some of their own belongings with them to help them feel they are a part of familiar surroundings.

Single and double en suite rooms are available. All rooms are thermostatically heated and are equipped with TV points and a private telephone line if required. A ‘nurse call’ system is also fitted in all rooms.

Great importance is given to dining, and our dedicated Chef carefully plans and prepares all meals to ensure that they are high in nutritional value, are attractively presented and meet residents’ dietary requirements. Residents are welcome to invite friends and family members for lunchtimes, a small fee being charged for this service.

Regular visits are made to the home by professional services such as chiropodists, dentists, opticians, reflexologists and aromatherapists.

St George's has a dedicated Activities Coordinator who plans a wide range of hobbies, events and activities that can be enjoyed by everyone.
