I feel that the quality of the service provided is of such a good standard that I am prepared to assist in the promotion of the home and the group as a whole to hope that people looking for a good standard of care in good surroundings will consider caring homes for their families.

The home is bright and cheerful and my mother is well looked after. I am always made to feel welcome when I visit and any concerns I may have are always dealt with promptly. I like the large sitting room with small areas to sit in groups rather than around the walls as is found in some homes. Plenty of comfortable chairs for the residents. Activities good and 'one to one' excellent.

Overall appearance of home and setting. Attractive, tranquil, calm atmosphere. Friendly caring staff, welcoming and attentive. Look after family members well. Rooms well looked after, nicely decorated. Informative, helpful manager very caring and empathetic. Highly recommended.

This is a very well run nursing home and my sister and I have been very happy with my mother's care. The nursing staff, carers and activity ladies are friendly and professional and always on call with a smile. My mother is well cared for and her room is always clean and warm. The home has a nice atmosphere, with daily activities, occasional outings and entertainment for those who are able or wish to participate. They say that how an institution is run comes from the top down and in this case it's obvious that Anne Lewin does and excellent job.

The nursing care at Frethey for my mother who is a resident is excellent. All the carers and management are very friendly and helpful. My mother's room is kept very clean and tidy and she is very well looked after every day and knight.

The minute I met Ann Levin the Manager I knew this was the right home for my mother and during the 2 years 3 months that she has been there I have never had any cause for concern with the care.

My wife and I would like to recommend Frethey Nursing Home as it has been and is providing excellent care for our mother/mother-in-law. The dignity of the residents appears to be of paramount importance and the staff, who are extremely caring, are well led by the manager, Ann Lewin. The home is clean, the food is excellent and there are daily activities for the residents.

The initial ambience of this home is attractive, warm and welcoming. I visited quite a few homes, but after being shown around by the Head of Care, felt Frethey would be the right place for my Husband. Sadly he has deteriorated in the time he has lived here, but his care plan has been adjusted to provide the appropriate care for him. Not only is he, I would almost say, lovingly cared for (as are the other residents). There is an interesting and wide range of activities for those who are able to appreciate them and relatives are always welcome and are kept well informed of developments.

I have been a resident in Frethey House Nursing Home for the past 4 1/2 years and have found it to be a very safe, secure and happy place, with excellent staff and a very good management team.

Frethey House is a very homely and friendly place. All staff have an excellent manner. I would rather my mother was here than any other home on the district.
