The Oxhey, Bushley, Tewkesbury GL20 6HP
Just a stone's throw away from the medieval town from which the home takes its name, Tewkesbury Fields is built around an eighteenth-century farmhouse and surrounded by four acres of serene grounds. There are 71 bedrooms, all on ground level for convenient access, which open out onto picturesque garden courtyards.
The home has a number of wonderful communal spaces, including three dining spaces, three lounges, and a seated balcony area. A real home has as much personality as the people who live there. That’s why the staff have made Tewkesbury Fields a place you’d be proud and happy to live in – just as you would your own home.
Peace and quiet is never far away inside, and outside there is a fantastic landscaped garden, duck pond, grazing field and pagoda. There is an abundance of outdoor seating areas for relaxing, enjoying the scenery and entertaining visitors.
Care workers understand that moving into Tewkesbury Fields will be a considerable transition, but one that they try to make feel as easy as possible. By helping you arrange your room just the way you like, or bringing you your daily newspaper, the staff at Tewkesbury Fields do the little things that make the biggest difference.
The home has a dedicated dementia Suite that has recently opened "Meadow View" A separate dedicated dementia community offering skilled and understanding care for those living with a form of dementia. It has stunning facilities, in a luxury environment.

Very calm and comforting home with friendly, effective, caring and helpful staff all round. Flexible support staff, especially the kitchen and cooking teams, who have to deal with a vast range of different personal requests, and do so with calm politeness. The Nursing team are caring, efficient and kind, tending to our mother's needs with a lovely manner and attitude. The whole ethos of TCH is as if a comfortable, family home with good, old-fashioned, caring and support standards.

An excellent Care Home. Set in a beautiful rural location, the home is well presented - and is very user friendly, being located on a single floor. Lovely communal areas i.e lounge, dining rooms, deck and gardens. Staffing levels are excellent, with staff who are caring, friendly, and understanding. Rooms are kept clean, and are well maintained. Residents are provided with stimulation and entertainment on a regular basis. Food is good, plentiful and nutritious. All in all an excellent Care Home of the highest standard, with outstanding management and nursing.
