The Morris Care Centre is located on the Holyhead Road leading into the small town of Wellington. The centre houses two Care Homes, each offering the highest quality specialist nursing care.
Wrekin Court is a grand Victorian building which has been refurbished maintaining many original features to provide luxurious accommodation with high quality nursing facilities. It provides nursing care for elderly frail men and women for both long and short stay as well as respite care and palliative care.
The centre provides spacious, attractive rooms, each furnished to the highest specifications, with the latest facilities providing the best in nursing comfort and care, from pressure relief mattresses to assisted bathing in specially designed bathrooms.
Residents may also benefit from the comfortable sitting rooms and small dining areas which are conveniently located on each floor. The main dining area can be found on the ground floor serving a delicious menu of freshly prepared meals every day. A hairdressing salon, shop and pleasant gardens are also available for residents and guests to enjoy.
Wellington Court is a purpose built unit for the care of physically disabled men and women of all ages. The home has a professional nursing team that is expertly trained in caring for physically disabled residents - the highest standards of care are practised based on each individual's needs. This can be for respite and short stays or for symptom control and post operative rehabilitation. The aim is to enable residents to become as independent as possible so they can be in control of their own lives despite any disabilities.
