A wonderful historic home:
More importantly...the Manager and staff on duty are welcoming, positive and attentive to our visit. Presenting professional attitudes and approaches of caring for the needs of an 'early dementia' resident. We observed understanding and empathy.
A clean, safe and fresh environment achieved by Housekeeping team.
The Manager spoke highly of her team and has encouraged open and honest communication to help her provide a 'best fit' service.

I highly recommend Standon Hall as I cannot praise the staff enough for caring for my mum after the nasty fall and badly burnt arm. I was concerned about having to place mum in a home but I needn't have worried as the care in Standon Hall is second to none, as all the staff are wonderful. So I hope my comments are passed on to all staff. Thank you.

My mother, who has alzheimers, was ill recently with a chest infection and the family were very pleased with the way the staff did all they could to make her comfortable. They took time to feed her by syringe as her mouth was very sore with mouth ulcers, reassuring us that although she seemed very poorly she was in good hands and was being well cared for. The staff are always there to answer any concerns we have and are always polite and courteous no matter how busy they are.

I cannot praise the staff at The Beeches highly enough. Mum moved over to The Beeches from The Hall as it was felt they could offer mum a safer environment now her dementia has entered a different stage. It was a concern she may not settle there but things have turned out wonderful. The environment is perfect for her needs allowing her freedom to take walks in the garden or just simply sit and talk to other residents. Staff are kind, sympathetic, and enthusiastic in their care for mum. It's such relief knowing mum is safe and well cared for. Thank you.

Our Mother has resided at The Beeches since 2013 and in that time we have been most impressed by the care and attention our mother has been shown. The staff are caring and kind.

I have found the staff at The Beeches Unit welcoming and friendly when I have visited my husband. They are willing to sort out any problems relating to my husbands and keep me up to date on how he is keeping. He has Lewy Body disease and his behaviour can fluctuate, but they are keen to adapt to this an have shown patience. I appreciate the attempts to encourage him to join in any of the varied activities, which is rather difficult.
The unit is well run and everyone works together as a team. The unit is not purpose built and a lot improvement to the rooms and other areas have been taking place. The manager encourages staff to have input into the running of the unit and welcomes any suggestions from relatives, such as introducing home cooking.

The staff are just wonderful....

My wife recently stayed in The Beeches at Standon Hall where she recieved the highest level of care possible. The staff were amazing, totally dedicated to the care and comfort of each patient, and they made myself and my family very welcome when ever we visited.
The only slight down side is that the building itself is a bit run down but staff are working hard to improve it, which I can see the the changed every time we visit.
We also spent time in Standon Hall, which is just beautiful, with a fabulous view across open countryside. We found the staff over there just as wonderful as the Beeches team.
All the family cannot thank them enough for all they did for Ann.
Thankyou.

Cannot fault the care and respect given to mom and her needs. Nothing is too much trouble. Friendly staff genuinely interested in care of residents. Homely atmosphere for dementia patients which is more appropriate than a clinical state of the art care home. Rooms are basic but adequate. Outside of building is a bit run down but the setting in the grounds is beautiful. Would recommend this care home for its brilliant service.
