The Branksome Care Home is set in its own impressive grounds in the Peak District spa town of Buxton. The home is close to shops, amenities and public transport. The home is convenient for the town centre, gardens, Opera House and its spa.
This Tudor style house, which has been sympathetically converted with a purpose built extension, is now a care home providing nursing and social care.
Accommodation at The Branksome is provided in single occupancy rooms, some of which are with en-suite facilities. Some rooms are spacious enough for sharing.
The Branksome has a well equipped TV lounge, a quiet library/sitting room and a music room. There are also separate dining rooms, where residents can enjoy the company of others at meal times. Meals based on traditional home cooking using fresh produce are served with daily choices being available. Special diets can be catered for. Residents may also take meals in their own room is preferred.
The home has beautiful tranquil gardens where residents may sit outside in the warm weather.
Residents are offered a varied programme of activities.

My Nanna stayed hear over Christmas she is very hard to please sometimes. She loved the place, made friend and had no complaints at all which is great from my Nanna as she can be hard to please and speaks her mind. The staff were so kind and helpful, the Manager is a lovely man to. My Nanna was a different lady after a week in hear it has done her so much good every one says its done her the world of good and I want to say a big Thank you to all who work hear you have so made a difference to our family. Hope to see you all soon. Thank you all.X
