Review of Church Farm Nursing Home on Monday 5 August 2013 by Pat Archer (Daughter of resident)

Church farm is very homely and friendly. The residents are really well looked after and cared for. I have peace of mind knowing mum is happy. She also went to the day centre before going in Church Farm permanently. It is an excellent place. Mum went 3 days a week and was looked after well and enjoyed going.

Review of Church Farm Nursing Home on Thursday 2 May 2013 by Terry C (Son of resident)

I recommend this home for its excellent first class care. The residents are bathed every day and dressed impeccably, with clean clothes. The home is well maintained throughout with lovely cleaning in every lounge, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms and toilets, receiving excellent attention at all times. Residents are given first class cuisine by nursing staff who look after residents with first class care and nothing is too much trouble for them. The home is excellent.

What most impresses me is the 'core value' at this nursing home which is centred around the objective of being a 'home' for residents in every aspect of care provided.

Review of Church Farm Nursing Home on Monday 22 April 2013 by P M Marshall (Relative of resident)

Having visited several homes before choosing the home, it was very apparent that the general feeling, attitude and warmth of the staff was good. All regular visitors have their own key and visiting is open at any time - always a good sign - staff keep relatives fully informed of residents' state of health, and are always on hand to answer any questions or worries. Great care is taken to maintain the dignity of the residents at all times, despite some very difficult situations which may arise.

My father-in-law has been a resident at Church Farm for the last 2 years. He initially came for day care, but after the sudden death of my mother-in-law came to live at Church Farm. I am always given a very warm welcome by all the staff. My father-in-law is very well cared for.

My father-in-law was admitted to Church Farm approximately 1 year ago as my mother-in-law was no longer able to manage him at home. I am always made to feel very welcome when I visit and the home has a lovely caring atmosphere.

Review of Church Farm Nursing Home on Wednesday 17 April 2013 by Janice Copestake (Daughter of Resident)

The staff have a calm friendly approach to the residents which makes for a relaxed atmosphere. I have also found that they genuinely care about the happiness and health of my father. His bedroom is very clean and tidy and his clothing is well laundered. Dad loves food and the cook provides very good meals. When my father was ill everyone was so kind and helpful. When I leave him after visiting I know he is very well cared for.

Review of Church Farm Nursing Home on Tuesday 16 April 2013 by Graham McLachlan (Son of Service User)

My mother has been a resident at Church Farm Nursing Home for the past 4 years. My 2 brother's and I all live away from the UK in America, Australia and New Zealand. One of us manages to get over to the UK at least once a year to visit Mum, I have just been for my visit which is the first one in 2 years. It was a pleasure to see my mother looking so well, she is very happy, and very well cared for. The home keep all three of us informed of how mum is doing via email.
