The staff at St Augustine's are great! My dad is always well presented, clean shaven and his hair is always neat. They have his diabetes under control and apart from my dad's dementia my dad is in really good health thanks to the staff. I am very happy.

My cousin Gloria was admitted to St Augustine's Court 12 months ago. She settled immediately and I am very happy and relaxed with the care she is receiving. Special thanks to supervisor Angie and the rest of the staff.

Review of St Augustine's Court Care Home on Tuesday 1 April 2014 by Anthony W (Son of resident)

As reported before, there is not a specific reason why I find St Augustine's Court good. It appears to me to be a combination of appropriate resource, management, staff ratio to residents but above all knowledge of dementia in all its forms, staff experience and the individual care shown to the residents by the staff.

Review of St Augustine's Court Care Home on Saturday 9 February 2013 by Anthony Wardle (Son of resident)

My mother has Dementia which requires her to need one to one care, having spent almost 3 years in hospital and unsuccessful stays in previous care homes we were fortunate in December 2012 to be referred to St Augustine's Court Care Home in Nottingham. Although, it's early days the change in my mother's general well being is significant. There's not a specific reason I can offer for this improvement, it appears to me to be a combination of appropriate resource, management, staff ratio to resident, knowledge of Dementia in all its forms, staff experience and individual care for the residents in their charge. As previously mentioned it's early days in my mother's case but early indications are positive.

Review of St Augustine's Court Care Home on Wednesday 2 May 2012 by Val N (Daughter of Resident)

My mother needed to move from a residential home to one with nursing care. Having looked at about 15 homes which I did not like, I was given the above home to look at. I was not keen in the area it was in, but agreed to go. I visited unannounced and was made very welcome by Angie the Team Leader. She explained about the care, activities, food and answered questions on my concerns. I moved my mum to the home expecting a dip in her health and behaviour; however she has settled really well and is more alert, taking interest in what is going on. There is a noticeable change, this is down to the team work at the home.
