Home is very well run and kept spotlessly clean all the time. The staff are very attentive to everyone's needs and spot anything wrong quickly. The cook is excellent with good meals to match.

Both my parents are in the care home and nothing is too much for the staff. They go out of their way to help residents. The staff are also very helpful to reassure you if you are concerned about your parents.

Ashbourne House Nursing Home

My father entered the home in December after being in another home which we found very impersonal, we tried to have him back home after some conversions being made but we could not cope. Ashbourne was the only home which would take him with his medical complications and dementia. At first we were very apprehensive but after the change in management especially Lynette taking over and the assignment of each resident to have their own key care staff we feel things are moving forward. Communication is brilliant over any concerns and if dad is under the weather they do not mess around and ensure his health and welfare are a priority. The meals which we have seen seem well balanced and well presented. The home is clean although the lounge could do with a lick of paint but nothing major. Against the previous home they cater for the ages of the residents, no ET on the tv more music that relates to the age and memories of the residents. Sometimes when visiting it is difficult to find seating with dad and as mum is 70 sometimes she gets tired and is fussy about sitting on residents chairs as although the staff make every effort to ensure all chairs are clean there is no way they can look 360 degrees when they are looking after the residents. All in all I am very happy with Ashbourne house, it's management, staff and also the rapour that they encourage you to build with other residents and their families all of who are very warm to dad. So Lynette, Louise, Stacey, Donna, Ingrid, Charlotte, Chelsea, Amanda, Mark, Wayne, the Julie's, Tracey, Matthew and everyone else thank you all.

My wife has been at Ashbourne for a while, the home is very accommodating, especially with my wife's food as she has a pureed diet. The chef accommodates this by making sandwiches soaked in her special powder to enable her to eat them as recommended. They have 5 stars recommendations and truly live up to this.

Ashbourne House Nursing Home

I came here for respite having been discharged from hospital with pneumonia, I wanted to go straight home as I love alone. With the excellent care I have received at Ashbourne House, they have fueled me round and I am now able to go home. Everyone here has been magnificent. Staff extremely kind and the chef very sympathetic to my eating needs. I would recommend Ashbourne House to anyone.
