Southbank Care Home is situated in the village of Bowdon and provides excellent residential and nursing care for older frail people and young physically disabled. The Home was originally built in the 19th century and has been thoughtfully extended and converted to offer all modern facilities whilst retaining its character and homely atmosphere. With a multi-skilled team, all are dedicated and committed to giving an excellent standard of care. This is fully supported by the services of the resident’s own chosen GP and further complemented with a range of community services including Physiotherapist, Chiropodist and Dentist. Offering a full and varied activities programme specifically designed for the different needs of the residents, including videos, lots of outings to the theatre, trips to the Safari Park and the Blackpool lights.
