My mother has been a resident in Belong since it opened. She is in Cedar House and is very well cared for by all the staff. When visiting its nice to be able to take her downstairs to the Bistro for a meal, which is surrounded by a lovely garden and patio area.

Mum has been at Belong Wigan now for 10 months and is so relaxed in comparison to when she was at home. The staff in her 'House' are excellent and show Mum that they really care and are very helpful to the rest of the family when we visit. It`s become like a second home to us.

Before mum came to Belong I researched many care homes in the area and visited up to 20 and Belong was outstanding with facilities, management, rooms and staff appeared warm and caring. Mum has now lived here for 7 months and Belong has lived up to all I expected from it. I would thoroughly recommend Belong Wigan to any of my friends for their relatives.

Friendly, warm, informative staff. Have only rated good for activities because Mum has only spent the past 4 weeks at Belong and due to her dementia, she is not interested in many activities at present. Staff are always willing to answer any queries by family. They were aware of Mum's needs after a fairly short stay at Belong. Excellent meals, snacks, frequent fluids/drinks including wine! Bistro also excellent, staff friendly, food/drinks very good.
