Avondale Nursing Home offers support for individuals whose needs are associated with their mental health. Carers provide for adults of any age, 24 hour long term care, short term, respite or assessment periods. Meeting the Care Quality Commission outcomes.

The team recognise that each individual is unique and aim to improve residents' mental health from the outset. The approach of the team at Avondale is person-centred and staff uphold high standards in privacy, dignity, independence and choice. Well trained qualified nurses are experienced and can support residents with challenging behaviours.

Avondale provides traditional home cooked meals using fresh produce, with daily choices being available. Special diets can be catered for. There are mature gardens with several patio areas for relaxation.

Avondale features several lounges and a spacious dining room, where residents dine together.

A full range of activities are made available and access to Occupational Therapy services.
