Hillside Nursing Centre

Hillside Nursing Centre is run by Bupa. It has recently been refurbished, with 114 single-occupancy ensuite bedrooms across four specialist units: for dementia residential, nursing dementia, general nursing and residential care, and care for young people with physical disabilities. Hillside also offers convalescence, palliative and respite care.

Each resident at Hillside receives individual care. This includes a personal care plan (and continuing care from their own GP if possible), eating choices to suit their preferences, the opportunity to customise their rooms and support with individual hobbies and interests.

For young residents with physical disabilities, Hillside offers scope for independent living. Facilities to support this include a utility room, kitchenette, and internet and computer room.

Hillside also provides a varied and busy calendar of events, social occasions, activities and entertainment. All activities are designed to cater for the diverse wishes and needs of Hillside’s residents.
