Southfield Manor care home provides quality care for the elderly including 24 general nursing beds, 48 nursing EMI beds and 29 EMI Residential beds. Respite beds are offered subject to availability, but must be booked in advance. The home has been tastefully decorated throughout with individual décor in each bedroom to meet the requirements and needs of each resident. All of the rooms are single, with some having an ensuite facility. There are extensive, well maintained grounds in which garden furniture is available, so that sunshine and tranquillity can be enjoyed by all. A qualified nurse/key worker is assigned to each resident ensuring a holistic approach to individual care and daily fulfilment. Each member of staff is trained to ensure that the residents’ personal dignity is maintained at all times. The in-house chef ensures a choice of menus creating fresh, nutritious, homemade meals catering for all cultural, medical diets and personal preferences.
